With this totorial we would like to show you how to use the Content Network of SAP Analytics Cloud and how to import 3rd party business content in your tenant.
Once you are logged in SAC, navigate to the Content Network Section and
Select 3rd Party business content.
You will find there are a lot of applications for different purposes and from different vendors. Dahlbeer has uploaded several free packages in the content network as well.
Select and click on a package you would like to import.
The import overview window that pops up allows you to check the import preferences.
Please make sure that overwrite preferences are set to “Don’t overwrite objects or data” If this is the first time you are importing a specific application.
On the overview tab we also have the ability to check the package description and to read and agree to terms and conditions.
The import will immediately after you click on the import button on the bottom of the window.
To check the progress, navigate and click on the notification icon in the top right corner.
Once the import is complete, you can check the status by clicking on the notification itself.
To use the new content, navigate to "My Files", then "Public" folder, then "3rd party content" folder. Inside you should find a folder with the name of the vendor you are importing the package from and finally a folder with the name of the package you are importing.
The only thing left is to start the application or story and start exploring.
